Itinerary
 
UluruDay 1. Ayers Rock Resort, Kata Tjuta (Olgas), Olga Gorge, Uluru (Ayers Rock) Sunset
Welcomed on arrival at Ayers Rock Airport prior
to 1.00 p.m. for transfer to your hotel. Later, travel to Kata Tjuta, 36 dramatic rock formations that dominate the skyline. Enjoy the walk into Olga Gorge and hear about the unique flora, fauna and geology of the area. At sunset, enjoy complimentary drinks as you watch the spectacular light display upon Uluru.
Two Night Stay: Choice of hotel.

Day 2. Uluru, Mutitjulu, Mala Walk
With tea or coffee in hand, watch the sun's first rays strike the scarred surface of Uluru. Then visit the waterhole at Mutitjulu. Alternatively, climb Uluru for panoramic views. Later, join the Mala Walk and tour the base of Uluru, hearing stories of the area's original inhabitants. Visit the Cultural Centre and the Maruku Arts and Craft Cooperative. Late this afternoon, join a local guide for the Kuniya Walk.

Day 3. Ayers Rock Resort, Kings Canyon
Time this morning for optional activities. Depart Ayers Rock Resort at 12.30 p.m., travelling through vast desert landscapes. En route to Kings Creek Cattle Station, view amazing Mt Conner. On arrival, learn a little about life on an 'Outback' property. Continue to Watarrka National Park, home of the remarkable Kings Canyon and the George Gill Ranges.

Day 4. Kings Canyon Rim Walk, Alice Springs
Enjoy a guided walk to the rim of Kings Canyon, the 'Lost City' and 'Garden of Eden' (requires a good degree of fitness). Or, join an easier walk along the canyon floor. Depart for Alice Springs, arriving at 6.30 p.m.
