SIGHTSEEING HIGHLIGHTS

Full Day, Depart: 7.00 a.m.
Travel south from Darwin and ascend the rocky Tabletop Range where dry woodlands and forests dominate the huge sandstone plateau. Stop to view giant magnetic termite mounds, some standing well over two metres tall. See the picturesque double waterfall forming Florence Falls, surrounded by rainforest, then continue to Tolmer Falls, noted as one of the most spectacular in the park, Cascading over two high escarpments and plunging into a deep waterhole below. Continue to the rock pool at Wangi Falls, where there's time for a refreshing swim in the crystal waters or perhaps take a nature walk to the top of the falls. Reboard the coach and return to Darwin, arriving at 6.00 p.m. (L)
