Shortly before sunset, journey into the desert where a didgeridoo welcome awaits. As the sun sinks behind the domes of Kata Tjuta, enjoy a selection of fine beverages and sample delicious 'Outback' canapes. At sunset, enjoy a special bush blend vegetable soup followed by choice cuts of kangaroo, emu, chicken and barramundi, all accompanied with fresh salads, followed by a selection of desserts. After dessert, relax and enjoy the sounds of the 'Outback', as an astronomer guides you through the stars of the night sky. View the Milky Way through a telescope or simply sit around the camp fire (winter only) and enjoy a brew of billy tea or coffee and a glass of port.

Central Australia supports a thriving camel industry, with many wild camels herded and exported to Arabian countries for breeding and racing. In this genuinely unforgettable optional experience, you come face to face with a friendly 'Outback' Australian camel, and ride through the stunning red sand dunes to Uluru (Ayers Rock). The Sunrise Ride sets out just as the sun's rays start to creep over the desert sands, arriving at Uluru in time to see the brilliant show of colours as the day's first light strikes the monolith. You then return to the Camel Depot and enjoy billy tea and home-made beer bread.
The Sunset Ride departs in the fading afternoon light, arriving at Uluru in time to watch its dramatic colour changes as the sun sinks below the desert horizon. You then return to the Camel Depot for a glass of champagne, soft drinks and some tasty snacks.

Uluru (Ayers Rock), Kata Tjuta (Olgas) and Kings Canyon are some of the most impressive geological features anywhere in the world; Uluru, towering 348 metres above the surrounding desert plain; Kata Tjuta, a complex formation of massive domes, valleys and river beds; and Kings Canyon, a deep gash in the rocky plateau bounded by coloured sandstone walls. To see these landmarks is memorable, but to appreciate their scale and grandeur, nothing compares to an aerial view from a helicopter.
