Travel alongside the picturesque West
MacDonnell Ranges visiting many sites, including Flynn's Grave (the founder of
the Royal Doctor Service), Twin Ghost Gums and Simpsons Gap before arriving at
Angkerle (Standley Chasm). Walking through this colourful five metre break in
the range, with its fiery red walls towering on either side of you is a truly
unforgettable experience. A picnic lunch, including billy tea is served at
Angkerle. Travel to Anzac Hill to enjoy panoramic views of the West
MacDonnells and the township of Alice Springs. Visit the world renowned Alice
Springs Desert Park to explore three desert habitats and see the raptor
feeding show. Transfer to hotel at approximately 4.00 p.m. (L).
